A new mall developed in the southern quarters of Romanian capital Bucharest will be open to public in October this year, investors announced on Wednesday. The Sun Plaza mall is developed in Piata Sudului area in Bucharest with Austrian group Sparkassen Immobilien investing 200 million euro in the project.

The commercial center will have a surface of 210,000 square meters and will provide over 80,000 square meters of commercial space as well as a class A office building. A Sun Plaza mall official said the first retailer to join the project is Cora.
