Over 1.3000 militaries from the Defence and the Interior ministries and from The Romanian Intelligence Service and the Romanian Guard and Protection Service will march on the Streets of Bucharest today, starting 11 a.m., for Romania's National Day.

The parade is accompanied, as usual, by the Defence Ministry fanfare. The parade's commander is general-major Ion Palsoiu. He will be followed by flags belonging to certain Romanian units in the First World War.

The attractions of the parade are the military Hummer cars, Piranha shell-proof transporters, Jderul fight vehicle for then infantry, the TR 85 Bizonul tank, rocket launchers and the anti-flight fight shell-proof complex.

The naval and avian forces parade blocks will be followed by helicopters, transport and hunting aircrafts, that will fly above the Triumph Arch.
