British singer Rod Stewart will perform in Romania on the Iolanda Balas-Soter stadium in June 29, Romanian news agency Mediafax informs. Tickets will be sold starting with January 26.

Roderick David Stewart aka Rod Stewart became famous towards the end of the 60s, after having sung alongside The Jeff Beck Group and The Faces.

The artist enjoys a five decades career. His greatest successes have been in Great Britain. The Queen awarded him the British Empire Commander Order. On this island he ranked first in album charts with six records and he saw 31 of his singles into the Top 10. In the US, Rod Stewart had 16 songs in Top 10, for of them making it to the first position.
