Almost all general, economic and weekly business newspapers registered a significant drop in the number of readers according to the latest National Audience Study for October 2009 – October 2010, compared to the previous study. Click and Libertatea tabloids remain the newspapers with the biggest number of readers but Cancan tabloid is the only one to register an increase of 500 readers compared to the previous study.

When it comes to weekly newspapers, Money Express registers a slight increase. Click tabloid registered a drop in the number of readers from 1,258,000 readers on average to 1,210,000 readers while Libertatea dropped from 1,183,000 to 1,073,000 readers on overager per edition.

The third in the top, Cancan increased from 850,000 to 855,000. Daily Evenimentul Zilei registered a significant drop from 391,000 readers to 338,000 readers while Adevarul dropped from 631,000 to 599,000 readers on average per edition. Money Express weekly increased from 42,000 to 45,000 readers on average per edition.
