Almost a quarter of Romanians feel under constant pressure, a hr-romania.ro study regarding work loads and and time spent at work in private companies shows. Officials argue that the work load is necessary in Romania but employees problems are not to be neglected.

Some 70% of Romanians feel under stress and admitted to have confronted at least once with a stress related malady. However, 54% of the respondents agree that they value their work more than their health.

Interviewed employers do not find the situation serious, as they argue that young people should be appreciated for their dedication. Moreover, they stress the fact that what Romania needs now is more work force in order to sustain the country's economy development.
