The exchange rate for the European currency grew up to 3.7635 Romanian lei (RON) on Wednesday, the Romania Central Bank (BNR) informed, after growing to 3.7619 on Tuesday. The fall comes in the context of all regional currencies losing in front of the Euro and of international stock exchanges suffering the shockwave of the American crisis.

According to NewsIn, the RON lost 0.04% in the first transactions on Wednesday, returned to 3.74 RON per Euro at noon, only to fall back to 3.7797 within an hour. At 13:50, the rate ranged between 3.7740 and 3.7780 RON per Euro.
