Romania's national currency improved by almost 0.08 Romanian Ron against the euro on Monday, reaching 3.6096 Ron for 1 euro, according to the rates announced by the Romanian National Bank (BNR). The Romanian Ron grew by almost 2% as compared to the rate registered on Friday when the central bank announced a reference exchange rate of 3.6854 Romanian Ron.

According to Romanian news agency NewsIn, during the first two trading hours the exchange rate decreased from 3.6740 to 3.6190 Romanian Ron for 1 euro. By the end of the day, the national currency reached a 1.6% appreciation.
