The New York Stock Exchange reported growth after the Wal-Mart giant, the largest retail company worldwide, reported a profit growth, despite the international financial crisis. Dow Jones gained 0.44%, while Nasdaq increased 1,27%. The Nikkei indicator of the Tokyo market also ended the Friday session with a strong growth, gaining 2.92%, due to the growth of several distribution groups. The Asian price for oil also decreased a bit, after the record level of 112 dollars per barrel, on Wednesday. The price on Friday morning was 109.62 dollars, 49 cents less than Thursday.
