The Romanian Commercial Bank (BCR), part of the Erste group, will have starting with July 1, 2008 a new executive president in the person of Dominic Bruynseels, a former Barclays Bank director who will replace current BCR executive head Manfred Wimmer, an institution's press release informs.
According to the press release, Wimmer has completed his initial plans of closing up the Integration and Development Program of the bank by April 2008. Bruynseels will join BCR after a 27 years experience within Barclays Bank. Most recently, he served as Senior Executive Director at Barclays.
Former Executive President Manfred Wimmer will return by mid 2008 at Erste Bank's headquarters to occupy an executive position within the group.
