The low-cost EasyJet company will cancel, starting on June 1, all its flights between Bucharest and London (both ways). Company officials declared for HotNews.ro that the demand for this destination was not enough to justify the operating costs.

Airplanes flying this route were reassigned to Bucharest - Sofia tours.

Starting on June 1, EasyJet will operate in Romania only the Bucharest - Madrid and Bucharest - Milan flights, which have a daily tours.

EasyJet is on of the European low-cost leaders, with 157 planes covering 391 routes between 103 airports in 26 countries. The company transported over 39 million passengers during the past 12 months.
