The Romanian dot ro domain numbers among the top five most risky domains worldwide in a listing of Internet domains according to the volume of websites that pose information risks. Romania comes fifth with 7% of its websites able to affect PCs, according to a McAfee study.
The most dangerous domain is that of Hong Kong (.hk - 19%), while the most secure is that of Finland (.fi - 0.05%).
The Hong Kong domain is followed by those of China, the Philippines and Russia.
The report also shows that the possibility of downloading spyware, adware, viruses or other unwanted programs has risen 41% as compared to 2007.
