The Renault Group announced that it sold - during the four years that passed since the launching of the Logan model - over 1 million units, both under the Romanian Brand, Dacia, as well as under its own name. 420,000 Logan units were assembled in 2007 and the production capacity will increase to over one million per year, starting in 2008.

During the first four months for the year, Renault sold 168,000 Logan units worldwide, 85% more, compared to 2007, making the proportion of the group 1 low-cost car out of every 5 cars sold. Helped by Logan, the group strengthened its presence outside Europe, where it sold 23% of its cars until 2008, now selling 35%. In 2007, Romania was the most important market, with 100,000 units sold, followed by Russia - 68,000 and France - 32.000.

The Dacia brand currently holds five models, the last one - Sandero - just being launched in Western countries. Renault recently confirmed that the Logan range will reach 9 models in 2012.

Renault also announced that the average price for Logan models in Europe s 9,000 euro.
