After the recent launching of Sandero, the only secret Romanian car producer Dacia (owned by Renault) has to reveal is its future SUV, scheduled for launching in 2009. The auto.cz website publishes spy-pictures of a Sandero platform-based SUV. There is no coherent information about it yet and official prices were not published yet.
The Czech website claims that Renault will produce one million cars through its Logan program, and therefore needs to produce new models. One of them was spied on - a Sandero SUV that may borrow its 4x4 traction system from Nissan X-Trail.
Dacia officials confirmed only that the model will be launched at the end of 2009 or the beginning of 2010, while Renault officials said it would have a 4x4 system.
