The coupe Ferrari California model, scheduled to see its production launched in July in Italy, can be ordered in Romania starting this autumn, after the Paris Car Show, for prices starting at 165,000 - 175,000, company officials declared. Most probably, the first cars make it to the street at the middle of 2009, but several Romanians already expressed their desire to buy the latest model, said officials from Forza Rossa, Ferrari dealer in Romania.
California will be powered by a 4.3 liter, 460 HP, V8 engine. The model has a metal retractable roof. The new car will be launched at the Paris Car Show this fall. Producers failed to offer any information about how many cars will be made, but Italian media have speculated figures around 2,000 units.
