The Peugeot 308 CC (Coupe - cabrio) model will be first introduced at the Paris Car Show in October and will be available in Romania starting in 2009. Officials from Trust Motors said for HotNews.ro that is still too early to pronounce a firm date. The car will be available in two motorization versions.
Peugeot 308 CC clients may chose between a 1.6 liter, 150 horse-power gasoline engine and a 2-liter diesel of 140 horses. The metal roof can be retracted in 20 seconds and the trunk has a 266 liter capacity with the roof down and 465 liters with it lifted.
The price will range between 14,300 and 23,000 euro.
Peugeot sold some 17,000 cars in Romania in 2007, over 3,200 being commercial and transport units. The 206 model was the best-selling model, with 4,300 units.
