State titles may be listed on the stock exchange starting August 4, Romania's Economy minister Varujan Vosganian declared on Friday on the Romanian TV station The Money Channel, quoted by news agency NewsIn. The official declared that 26 sets of shares would be listed, with a maturity of over a year.

Vosganian declared that only stocks with a maturity of over a year will be listed which allow for a certain market behavior on the part of the investor. He added that he expects a liquidity of the state's titles of at least 1 billion Romanian Ron in the following period

The minister underlined that the inter-banking market will be the main transaction market of the titles because it is just as important that banks own state titles. Vosganian revealed that 20% of the total titles will be listed at the Stock Exchange.
