A new search engine, called Cuil, is about to be launched, as a strong competitor for Goggle for all Internet searches, according to Reuters. The project was developed by several former Google employees and is supposed to be more comprehensive and all-covering, with more relevant results.

Cuil Inc (pronounced as "cool") will offer a new search engine at www.cuil.com, founders claiming that the engine is faster in noting indexes and cheaper in this process.

"Our significant breakthroughs in search technology have enabled us to index much more of the Internet, placing nearly the entire Web at the fingertips of every user," Tom Costello, Cuil co-founder and chief executive, said in a statement, according to Reuters.

"The time may be right for a challenger," Sullivan says, but adds quickly: "Competing with Google is still a very daunting task, as Microsoft will tell you", Costello added, the agency informs.
