Orange brings iPhone 3G to Romania on August 22 august. Price still undisclosed

Orange will introduce in its offer for the Romanian market Apple's iPhone 3G, on August 22, at 00:00h, the launching taking place in six stores. The device enables web navigation twice as fast as the first iPhone model. Starting on August 7, the potential customers may pre-order the phone on the official Orange website. Data about the price or the type of subscription required is not available yet.

iPhone 3G brings together all the features of the previous model and the 3G network capabilities, includes a GPS function and the iPhone 2.0 software platform, which allows access to the Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync. The phone may also run hundreds of applications developed by third parties, available via the new App Store.

The 3G iPhone was launched on July 11 in 22 countries, with its 8 and 16 GB versions.
