The new crossover- SUV Sandero Stepway launched by Renault in Latin America will not be produced under Dacia's symbols, Dacia representatives declared for HotNews.ro. The recently launched Renault model does not resemble the Dacia SUV model scheduled for 2010, Dacia representatives added.
Renault presented in Brazil on Friday a new Sandero Stepway model, an improvement to the Sandero model just launched in Europe. The new model is especially developed for Latin American market needs and targets sofisticated clients who want a city car.
Dacia representatives declared that the new Stepway model is just an Urban Sport option of Sandero and it does not represent, by far, the new SUV Dacia model to be launched by 2010. Since official information regarding the price range of the new model is lacking, rumors on the market have it that it will range somewhere between 10,000 and 15,000 euro.
