Cosmote Romania will reduce its roaming tariffs for calls within the Union up to 0.46 euro/minute (VAT not included) and up to 0.22 euro/minute for received calls starting August 30, the deadline imposed by the European Commission, the operator announced on Wednesday.
Even though nothing is official yeat, Orange representatives declared that they will also operate cuts on calls within the Union by August 30. Vodafone announced the same cuts in tariffs starting August 18.
Previously, Cosmote clients paid 0.49 euro/minute (VAT not included) for calls within the Union and 0.24 euro/minute for received calls.
