The volume of retail investments in Europe dropped by 60% in the second quarter of the year and the sales pace of growth dropped in several European markets. However, Romania remains on 4 in the European construction of commercial centers top, a Cushman&Wakefield report shows. In Romania currently there are 53 commercial centers, of which 15 were opened this year and for 2009, another 22 commercial centers are planned.

The total retail investment volume in European reached 60.6 billion euro in the second quarter of the year, a 60% decrease as compared to the similar period, last year, the quoted report shows. Romania will be reported below the European average on the surface of the commercial centers for 1000 people in 2010.
