The Erste-owned Romanian Commercial Bank (RCB) will close all bank accounts for natural persons in case the accounts are empty and haven’t been used for more than six months, a press release of the institution informs. The operation will be free of charge for the clients.

The bank officials mentioned that the account closing does not include current accounts attached to other banking products, such as accounts with an attached debt cars or current accounts attached to savings or credit accounts.

RCB is the largest Romanian banking institution, managing assets worth over 17.5 billion Euros. RBC has a network of over 621 offices, 1,600 ATMs and 14,000 POS units.
