Renault-owned car producer Dacia will decide in December whether it will continue or it will cut the labor contracts for a pre-determined period for some 600 employees. The contracts expire on December 31, 2008.

The car builder currently has 2,800 employees with pre-determined timeline contracts, 600 of these contracts approaching their legal deadline. In total, Dacia employs some 14,700 people, including the temporary working contracts.

The car producing factory in Mioveni is shut down between November 20 and December 7, because of a significant decrease of demand on most markets.
