The annual inflation rate in Romania decreased in November to 6.74%, after the 7.39% level recorded in October. According to the National Statistics Institute, the price for food and services continued to grow, while other prices remained unchanged.

The inflation peaked this year in July, reaching 9.04%, the highest level in the past three years.

The Central Bank revised its annual inflation rate estimations from 6.6 to 6.7%, after first setting a target of 3.8% +/- 1%.
