The Government is preoccupied with maintaining the flat tax level at 16% during the negotiations with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the European Commission, said Prime Minister Emil Boc on Thursday, during the "Talks about Auto Industry" conference organized by Mediafax. Romania opened negotiations for foreign financing, in an attempt to rise above the financial crisis.

The head of Government said that the credits will be unlocked this spring, and chances are the economy will be re-launched in case the Governmental policies and the Central Bank policies are still correlated.
