The new Fiscal Code might be approved in the second part of the year, Romanian Finance minister Gheorghe Pogea announced. He declared that the Fiscal code will be elaborated and published for public debate and finally, approved in the second part of the year, Romanian news agency Mediafax informs.
However, in February, Romania's Department head on Direct Tax Legislation within the Finance ministry, Dragos Doros announced that the Fiscal Code will be published on the ministry's website and then approved by March 31 which did not happen.
