OMV will open two gas stations on the highway linking Bucharest with SE Romania on June 1, the national road company CNADNR announced on Wednesday, quoted by Romanian news agency NewsIn. The highway, which covers about two thirds of the way between Bucharest and the Black Sea city of Constanta, is known for lacking such facilities.

The two gas stations will be open midway along the highway, on each side of the road. OMV Romania won a tender to build the two stations last year. Other companies due to open stations on that highway are Rompetrol and Petrom.
