Petrom announced that the company will increase the fuel reference prices on Tuesday by 6 bani/litre, due to the evolution on the international oil markets. Petrom operated the latest increase in prices on June 16, when the company priced both the gas and gasoline 6 bani more expensive.

Starting from tomorrow, Petrom will price the Premium leadless gasoline 3.8 lei/litre, leadless Top Premium gasoline 99+ 4.13 lei/litre. OMV Carrera 95 and OMV Carrera gasoline will cost 3.9 and, respectively, 4.53 lei/litre.

As for diesel, Euro Diesel 5 will be sold with 3.67 lei and OMV Sprint Diesel will cost 3.72 lei. Euro Diesel 5 will be priced 3.54 lei/litre, while OMV Premium Diesel will cost 4 lei. Petrom prices might have a +/- 5% variation.

The oil price is dropping

The price for oil dropped on Monday on the Asian markets under 70 dollars. The price for one "light sweet crude" oil baril on Monday morning, with the delivery scheduled in July, dropped 39 cents, reaching 69.16 dollars.

Brent oil in the North Sea, with delivery in August, dropped 24 cents, amounting to 68.95 dollars, according to France Presse.
