The world economy will decrease by 2.5% this year, but will register a 1.7% increase in 2010, Coface estimates. The agency's analysts foresee a 3.9% drop this year in industrialized while developing countries will register a 0.7% increase in their GDPs.

The 2010 slight recovery is weak for industrialized countries, their GDP will increase by 0.5% and in developing countries the economy will advance by 4.1%. A Coface report reveals that Western Europe seems to have reached the end of the recession.

The most affected region, according to Coface experts are emerging countries in Europe. Their real economy is most affected by the crisis and currency is still unstable. Accordingly, Coface negatively revised the ratings of Slovakia, Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia.
