Credits for citizens and companies dropped in June by 0.5% compared to the previous months, up to 198.05 million lei, due to the decrease of the lei and dollar elements, Romania's National Central Bank data revealed. The annual growth rhythm for credits moderated compared to the previous month, from 15.9% to 11.2%.

In late June, credits in lei dropped by 1.2% compared to the previous month, and the foreign currency credits expressed in euro diminished by 0.7%.
