The National Statistics Institute (INS) of Romania has launched a public tender valued at 5 million euro to create a web portal to process statistical data online, according to an official announcement made on Friday. The contract would have a duration of 14 months and is part of a EU-funded project.
The contract would involve an web portal-type application to collect statistical data, infrastructure equipment and licenses for optimal functioning and for monitoring of the infrastructure, training programs, project maintenance and advertising for the project.
The main criterion of the tender is the most economically advantageous offer. The deadline for offer submissions is October 5, 2009.
