The Romanian Competition Council took initiative and launched four new investigations regarding possible agreements between medical producers and distributors.
The companies investigated by the Romanian Competition Council:
- Bayer SRL, Romanian society member of the Bayer group, Bayer Consumer Care direct importer in Romania;
- Baxter AG, a society belonging to Baxter Switzerland, a group specialised in treatment of complex affections, like haemophilia, immunologic diseases, kidney affections, infectious diseases, trauma etc.;
- Belupo Pharmaceutical & Cosmetics d.d., a company that sells medical products aimed for the cardiovascular system and for skin. This is the second largest company from Croatia;
- Sintofarm S.A., a Romanian producer supplying drugs for the central nervous system and the muscular-skeletal system.
The Romanian Competition Council is currently undergoing several investigations on the pharmaceutical market.
