Jeffrey Franks (IMF): the budgetary deficit target will not be revised for 2009 / We're expecting a 5.9% deficit in 2010

We are still revising the forecasts for economic growth and the results will be announced in a press conference, IMF delegation chief Jeffrey Franks declared, after a meeting with Romanian union representatives. He added that the political instability make things more difficult but he assured that he did not take a final decision yet.

Regarding the possibility to increase taxes, Franks declared that experts are currently computing and that he cannot give a final answer.
