In July, the car market registered increases after a bad year in which some brands increased their share market and others lost massively. Thus, in a year, Dacia and Chevrolet increased their share by two percentage points and Skoda did allright as well. Hyundai dropped by over 2 percentage points and Fiat and Peugeot by 1.5 and 1.3 points.

If Dacia owned a year ago 31% of the new car market and at the end of July 2010 the share reached at 33.1%. If in January July 2009, Volkswagen occupied the second position in the top, this year things changed and Skoda was marked on second, with a 9% share of the market compared to 7.3% last year.

Renault and Ford seen their quota advance by 0.6% up to 8.5% and 6.3%.
