Independent Oprescu is on the first place after counting 234 constiuencies of 1.181, Romanian Electoral Office announced on Monday. Independent candidate Oprescu received 30.738 of the cast votes, followed by Democrat Liberal (PD-L) Vasile Blaga with 25.416 votes. On the third place is Social Democratic (PSD) candidate Cristian Diaconescu with 13.210 votes.

  • for the County Council President seat some 605.412 votes were counted and the results are:

PD-L - 169.537 votes

PSD - 165.333 votes

  • in Bucharest, aftere counting 234 constituencies of 1.181 the results are:

PD-L - 30.470 votes

PSD - 25.210 votes

PNL - 11.441 votes

  • for Local Councils votes were counted from 305 constituencies and the results are:

PSD - 1.026 mandates

PD-L - 843 mandates

PNL - 696 mandates

  • for mayors, some 211 mandates were received from the first election round and the results are:

PSD - 82 mayors

PD-L - 47 mayors

PNL - 40 mayors
