Former Social Democrats vice-presidents Ioan Rus and Vasile Dancu will not run for a seat in the Parliament in this year's fall Parliamentary elections. The two declared that Social Democratic leaders ignored their reform program initially assumed by the party in 2005 and thus the PSD leadership proved there's no need for them, NewsIn informs.

The two declared that they do not give up their Social Democratic creeds and that they are convinced that they will offer Romania all solutions needed to reform the party and transform it into a truly European one.

Ioan Rus and Vasile Dancu are considered some of the most influencial PSD leaders in Cluj, central Romania and they recently announced their resignation from all functions they held in the party after serious dissessions with PSD party leaders in Bucharest.
