PSD leader Mircea Geoana declared on Thursday night that they seek an independent person, accepted by both parties, for the Justice Ministry as the Democrat Liberals' proposal, Mihai Selegean was rejected.
Geoana declared, quoted by NewsIn that on Friday both parties should make public the name of the future Justice minister. He added that there were several proposals put forward by both parties but no final decision was yet made.
Other PSD members declared that Mihai Selegean, PDL's proposal, was rejected by the party. Former PSD leader and President, Ion Iliescu declared that the justice minister needs to be respected and have a solid experience. He underlined that Selegean did not have any authority at his 32 years.
