Prime Minister Emil Boc declared on Monday that the main targets for the state budget to be discussed in the Parliament today are the economic development, the investments and the protection of citizens with low income or low pensions. The decision of ministries upon their personnel policies is still subject for analysis.

The priorities indicated by the Prime Minister will see all the details put up before the Government's session on Thursday.

The leaders of the two governing parties, Democrat Liberals (PDL) and Social Democrats (PSD) met on Monday morning to discuss the state budget bill for 2009.
