The President will suspend any minister who will be under official investigation, a press release of the Presidency informed on Tuesday. The President upholds the rule of law and the principle that nobody is above the law, the press release reads.
The declaration follows the decision of the Chamber of Deputies to set up an investigation committee to evaluate the case of Democrat Liberal Sports minister Monica Iacob Ridzi, accused by the mass media that she cannot justify the ministry's public spending.
