Social Democratic Party leader Mircea Geoana announced on Monday that the two governing parties, the Social Democrats and the Democrat Liberals adopted 32 anti-crisis measures to be implemented starting September 1. The announcement was made after the coalition meeting on Monday.

Here are some of the most important declarations:

  • at the level of the coalition, some 32anti-crisis measures were adopted and will be applied starting September 1, 2009
  • unfortunately it took a long time for the two parties to reach an agreement
  • if the measures are good when they are applied and if they have some effects over the economic environment it means that the measures are successful

the only principle to guide the governing parties at a time like this is common sense

Some of the measures include fiscal credit for refurbishing and modernizing buildings, supporting production for exports through warantees, the elaboration of a program for county revenues or aid schemes for small and medium enterprises.
