PD-L vice-president Gheorghe Flutur announced on Monday that the liberal-democratic deputies group has a mandate to request the Chamber's leadership to urge the juridical Commission to verify and investigate the four members of the parliamentary Commission handling Udrea's case. The gesture was triggered by the minutes published in the press.

The lib-dems believe that this step is necessary for the jurist deputies to declare whether the members of the investigation Commission did not sentence beforehand and if they did not go over their invested powers.

"The National Permanent Office decided to issue PD-L group's leadership in the Deputies’ Chamber with a mandate, requesting the juridical Commission for discipline and immunity to verify and investigate the four members handling Udrea's case, starting from the press publishing of one session’s minutes. We request verifying and investigating those who sentence beforehand, Gheorghe Flutur stated, according to NewsIn.

Elena Udrea, PD-L member and Romanian Tourism minister, is currently investigated for the way she used the ministry's money for advertising contracts.
