Deputies members of the parliamentary Commission investigating the way the Romanian Tourism minister Elena Udrea spent public funds for promotion purposes is drawing near to finalising the report in this case. The Commission's plenary will vote the proposal of dismissing the minister from her role and of pressing charges for a penal investigation against Elena Udrea, Romanian TV channel Antena 3 announced, quoting sources from the Commission.

According to these, the report will read that Elena Udrea committed appropriator deeds, abused her official role in the detriment of public interests and misappropriated funds.

In its turn, Romanian press agency NewsIn quotes sources from the same commission, claiming that this report will propose the Tourism minister to be replaced. According to NewsIn sources, the report is due to be sent to the Chamber's permanent Office after the voting in the commission's plenary. It is only afterwards that it will be made public.

The solutions proposed but the investigation Commission's report will be subject to the voting the Deputies' Chambers plenary.
