Social-Democrats (PSD) announced they would submit a simple motion against Romanian Transports minister, according to Agerpres. PSD leader Victor Ponta announced in the beginning of March that his party is considering the measures due to the staff cuts at Romanian Railways (CFR).

Victor Ponta then accused Radu Berceanu of "incompetence" and "obscure interests", after it was announced that 10,000 CFR staff were going to be sacked.

Liberals support the motion against Labour minister

PSD have also submitted a simple motion against Labour minister Mihai Seitan. Liberal vice-president Varujgan Vosganian announced on Monday, after PNL's Central Political Office meeting, that the liberals were going to support the simple mission submitted by the social-democrats against the Labour minister.

Liberal vice-president added that the current Executive was incapable to manage the effects of the economic crisis, according to Agerpres.

The deputies are debating on Monday the simple motion of the parliamentary group of the PSD+PC Alliance, named "Seitan - a PD-L tsunami that swallows salaries, pensions and Romanians' working places".
