Sicilly hosted on Sunday an ecumenical ceremony of Saint Agatha, the patron of the Romanian Orthodox Church in Catania. The ceremony dedicated to Saint Agatha, who is not only the Patron of the Romanian Orthodox Church there but also the patron of the city, concluded with the Orthodox Church receiving part of Saint Agatha's relics.

Hundreds of Romanians from all other surrounding regions of Palermo, Canicati, Reggio Calbria attended the ceremony, event organizer Vasile Mutu declared.
