Romania's Pavarotti, Costel Busuioc who has won the appreciation of Spaniards with a streak of wins in the Los Hijos de Babel show broadcast by the Spanish national television has won the sixth edition of the contest as well. Busuioc sang "Ave Maria" and managed to defeat other competitors once again. Thus, he has every chance to win the contest.
Costel Busuioc received a 9 from the jury and a total of 27 points. Costel left Romania two years ago to look for a better life in Spain. He is married with two children. Romanian Culture minister Adrian Iorgulescu announced that he intends to offer Costel a scholarship, to attend the National Music University in Bucharest.
