Georgia is on the verge of a war with Russia, Georgian Reintegration minister declared on Tuesday. His declaration comes after Moscow decided to supplement its troops in Abkhazia, Romanian news agency NewsIn informs. Asked how close was Georgia to a war with Russia, he said it was very close "because we know the Russians very well".

At its turn, the Russian government accused their Georgian counterparts of deliberately challenging them and pushing diplomatic limits. Georgia accused Russia on April 21 that it permitted an act of aggression against a Georgian plane.

Abkhazia, a strip of land at the Black Sea shore unilaterally proclaimed its independence at the beginning of the 90s. No other country recognized its independence. Last week, Russia announced it will supplement its peacekeeping troops in Abkhazia.
