Members of the famous Moldovan band Zdob & Zdub were involved in car accident on Sunday when exiting the Republic of Moldova heading for Ukraine, where they had scheduled a concert. The car of the band was hit by another vehicle that did not took notice of traffic signs. The car plunged into the air two times.
The band's manager, Corneliu Ladin declared for Romanian news channel Realitatea TV that, even though they were all injured, they got lucky and were OK.
Ladin declared that member Ion Moraru was most severely injured and will be hospitalized for one month. The other band members were released in the same day. Ladin added that band members were in shock because another musical band in Moldova was severely injured in a car crash several days ago.
