A report on "Romania - Migration and labor in Italy: statistics, problems, perspectives" will be launched in Rome, Venice and Naples on Thursday and is the first such document in Italy dedicated exclusively to the Romanian community there. The producers of the report are Caritas Italia - the IDOS Institute. A conference launching the event will have the support of several governmental offices and of the Romanian Embassy to Italy.

The 335-page volume was reported for by a team of 40 researchers and experts on Romanian migration. Most authors are representatives of university, social and governmental structures. Romanian institutions taking part in producing the study are the SNSPA-Bucharest institute, the Babes Bolyai University in Cluj Napoca and HotNews.ro through its correspondent to Italy.

HotNews.ro correspondent Miruna Cajvaneanu will be the only co-author to present the first conclusions of the report.
