Moldovan press considers Romanian Foreign minister's visit an ice-breaker

Moldavian press describes the Romanian Foreign Affairs minister Lazar Comanescu's visit to Chisinau as an attempt to break the ice between the two countries. All newspaper read about Romania's Foreign minister's visit starting Monday and its relevance to bilateral relations. The general message is that Lazar Comanescu is the first Foreign minister to visit Chisinau in the last two tense years.

Moldovan daily Timpul analyzes the context of the visit and informs that Romania is concerned not only about strengthening the nods with the Republic of Moldova but also to loosen up relations Romanians have with the neighboring country.

The same newspaper reads that in the last year the anti-Romanian hysteria increased tremendously among Moldova leaders and that the Romanian Foreign minister comes to improve this.
