A Romanian citizen drowned on Sunday near Reggio Calabria town, ignored by tens of Italians sun-bathing, La Repubblica daily informs quoted by Romanian news television Realitatea TV informs. Marcel Lungu came at the seaside together with his wife and some friends who did not know how to swim.

Shortly after entering the water, Marcel called for help but nobody offered to help. Only when the man was sunk in the water somebody called an ambulance. Even though an ambulance arrived very fast, the intervention was useless.

Marcel Lungu is the third Romanian citizen to drawn in the same waters, after two Romanian gipsy girls drowned there in July.
